Fence Equipment
Fence Equipment
My dad owned 120-plus acres in Bellville, PA. When he bought the fare there were 13 different spots on the farm that he couldn’t farm because of limestone rocks.
By the early 1970’s he had them all cleaned out. Every Spring in the late 1950s and 1960’s we put up sections of a new fence in. The tools or equipment were a shovel, digging iron and a spud bar to punch a hole between the rocks, to put a half piece of dynamite in the hole to break the limestone rocks apart.
In 1985 and 1986 I worked for a fence company. In 1987 the Yoder’s went in the fence business of their own. Today it’s still in the family, Yoder Fencing LLC in Central Pennsylvania.
Today, Sylvan Yoder is privileged to promote FE Innovations, top-of-the-line fence equipment the ranchers and fence contractors throughout the US. We have top-of-the-line fence equipment for the ranchers and contractors at FE Innovations. With the right equipment and two men you can have acres of fenced properties.
